Search Engine Optimization, SEO for short, is one of the hottest topics among webmasters. It seems everyone has an opinion. Problem is that there’s very few facts. And, just when everyone thinks they know something, the search engines, primarily Google, change the rules again.
When it comes to arts and crafts-related websites, SEO is one of the areas that many crafters are simply getting wrong. Well, maybe not wrong per se, but they are certainly missing the opportunities effective SEO can bring. The articles are written in such a way that hopefully anyone can understand them. If you have a shop on a site like Etsy or Artfile, you do have fewer SEO options than if you were running your own website. But, there’s plenty of things you can do to help your shop rank better in the search engines.
